Styrofoam Trimwork

Millwork crafted out of lightweight polystryrene--designed, cut, coated, and installed by Gingerbread Trim at our Sarasota facility.  Gingerbread Trim was built upon innovative techniques, practices, and tools in the field of Styrofoam sold for architectural purposes.  It is still the pride of our business and our most popular material for finish work. Styrofoam offers the greatest amount of flexibility in terms of design, finish texture, and cost.

                

Molded Millwork

Polyurethane molded millwork offers a different detailed look to your project. Molded polyurethane offers the greatest amount of detail and authenticity at the expense of cost and design flexibility.  Some of the following manufacturers that Gingerbread Trim is proud to be dealers for are listed below.

 

     

Fypon is the industry standard of moulded polyurethane products and Gingerbread Trim is proud to be one of their dealers.  Fypon's quality is second to none and its massive catalog of parts--from elaborate Corinthian column capitals to durable, lightweight baluster systems--is sure to fit your interior and exterior finishing needs.

                      

           

Spectis is an alternative polyurethane product to Fypon, manufactured in Canada.  Spectis--producers of quality complex trimwork and crisp, detailed medallions--has slightly more flexibility in terms of their finishes and part profiles. Due to slight variations in price, products coming from Spectis might be more or less expensive than Fypon.  Our sales staff uses both of these companies to make sure your project is comprised of the best quality and most affordable material.

 

    

Coral-Light Products produces a polyurethane millwork product that looks almost identical to actual coral stone. The detailed texture of Coral-Light adds a definitive air of sophistication to any of your interior projects. Their products--such as columns, fireplaces, and artistic medallions--especially mesh well with the accoutrements of interior design like mantlepieces and plants of all types, as shown in an episode of the TLC hit show "While You Were Out."

Coating Products

Gingerbread Trim of Sarasota not only supplies a huge selection of architectural trim, but also the coating and texturing supplies for contractors or homeowners who wish to finish-coat our products themselves.

Gingerbread Trim uses a single part coating system that is waterbased and comes premixed in a 5 gallon bucket for easy shop or jobsite application.  Called DiamonShield, the product has a sand finish texture and is one of the most durable and environmentally friendly coating systems in the industry.

 

QPC (Quartz Polymer Crystal) decking material is an environmentally friendly waterborne deck coating that uses 3M Quartz crystals for a non-fading, non-slip spray-on flooring system.
